Furniture removal FAQ
Direct answers to common questions about preparing items and describing access.
What details should I share first?
List each furniture piece, its room and floor, the address, stairs or elevator, doorway constraints, parking or loading access, and preferred timing.
Do I need to move furniture outside?
Do not move a bulky item to the curb unless the provider asks you to and it is safe and permitted. Describe where it sits so the route can be planned.
Should drawers and cabinets be empty?
Yes, remove personal items, valuables, liquids, and loose contents unless the provider gives different instructions.
Is disassembly included?
It depends on the item and agreed scope. Identify detachable legs, mirrors, glass, powered mechanisms, wall attachments, and manufacturer instructions before work begins.
Can furniture be donated?
Do not assume donation. Acceptance depends on condition, current recipient rules, transport, and the agreed disposal route.
How is pricing determined?
Quantity, size, weight, access, disassembly, carry distance, parking, special handling, and timing can affect an estimate.
Do you remove mattresses too?
Mattresses are a separate item category. Ask whether they are accepted and list them separately from the bed frame.
Can you work in an apartment or office?
Share elevator reservations, loading-zone rules, management requirements, access hours, and an on-site contact before scheduling.
Ready to plan the furniture pickup?
